Subcutaneous immune globulin (SCIG) is a blood product licensed in Canada for the treatment of patients with primary immunodeficiency disease.  Unlike IVIG, which is given in a hospital, SCIG can be easily infused at home.  A provincial working group chaired by the PBCO has developed a resource kit for health authorities and/or hospitals wishing to establish SCIG home infusion programs.  The kit is provided below in PDF.  If you would like the documents in Word format, please contact the PBCO.
