2024 BC Contingency Plan for Arboviruses & The Blood Supply - PDF
This plan sets out recommendations for actions to be taken by Canadian Blood Services (CBS), the British Columbia (BC) Ministry of Health, BC regional health authorities and hospital transfusion services to manage safety risks posed by arboviruses (acquired through local exposure and infection in BC or through foreign travel or sexual contact with a traveller) to the blood supply.
