By using the Blood Product Request Portal (herein "BPRP") you agree to the terms and conditions that govern the use of BPRP.

Use of Content

The BPRP is intended for use by authorized personnel at the Health Authorities within the Province of BC to access and process requests, approvals and denials for immune globulin (Ig). Use of or reliance on the information and content on the BPRP for any other purpose is at your sole risk.

The Provincial Heath Services Authority, PBCO and its content providers, including without limitation the physicians, nurses and technologists, who contribute to the information in the BPRP application (herein “PHSA”) makes no representation or warranty, express or implied, regarding the information and content on the BPRP, including fitness for a particular purpose and non-infringement. The BPRP Terms of Use require that all users agree to:

  • Keep the BPRP password confidential and not share this information with anyone
  • Take reasonable care to protect the security of the user information and immediately notify PBCO if the account information is lost or stolen
  • Immediately notify the PHSA Information Access & Privacy Office and PBCO if any potential or actual unauthorized disclosure of information occurs
  • Only access the BPRP and use/disclose the patient’s personal information where it is solely for the purpose of performing the duties/functions pertaining to the role
  • Not access records of family, friends or others unless involved in their direct delivery of care or other services through the relationship with the employer
  • Acknowledge that use of BPRP is monitored and recorded in an audit log, which will be reviewed regularly to ensure compliance with these Terms of Use
  • Complete the Health Authority’s Patient Confidentiality e-Learning Training and agree to comply and follow all conditions outlined in the training and these Terms of Use
  • Access the BPRP only via computer devices issued by Health Authorities or via Health Authorities’ secured IT network
  • Comply with these Terms of Use and acknowledge that non-compliance may result in immediate termination of BPRP access privileges and potential further disciplinary action by the employer
  • Complete the BPRP user training provided by PBCO
